What is a cockapoo?

Cockapoos have been around since the 1950's. A cockapoo is a cross between a purebred poodle and a purebred cocker spaniel. Any size poodle can be used and an American or English Cocker is used.
In our case, we use a large toy poodle and/or a large miniature poodle with an American Cocker Spaniel. Our poodles are the sires and the Cockers are our moms.
Cockers can come in all sizes and colors depending on which parents are used; One litter can consist of all colors and sizes!
The temperament of the Cockapoo is awesome! Cockapoos are highly trainable with keen intelligence. They are outgoing, curious, and eager to please. They can do well with one person or a family with children. They can adjust to apartment living or live on a large farm. They can mold themselves to most family lifestyles with little to no effort. But they are most definitely people dogs. They should not be left outside or home alone for extended long periods of time. They are a low-to-no shed dog which is part of what makes them very popular. Their lifespan is generally 12-15 years.

Wally has been health tested he carrys non of the 7 Breed Relevant Genetic Condition. He was also tested for 212 additional Genetic Conditions and carry's non of those either

Parker is out newest Papa. He is a very handsome boy with lots of personality and color. We are waiting on test results He weights in at about 22 pounds . He also is a Moyen Poodle
